# What are Super Seasons?

A Super Season is an event where all unclaimed $MON from NFT staking within a specific time period will be up for grabs.\

Details for Super Season 1:

* Rewards Pool for Super Season 1 = All unclaimed MON from Hunting Seasons 1-8.
* Check <https://app.monprotocol.ai/hunting-season> for current pool size. This will increase every Hunting Season.
* End of Season Rewards and Average Returns are NOT FIXED, these are continuously updated estimates.
* Reward attribution is calculated based on MON locked x Days Staked.
* Super Season 1 Rewards will unlock monthly, proportionally to the amounts locked from Hunting Seasons, over 6 months after the season 1 ends. &#x20;
